are getting wilder and wilder on 'Desperate Housewives,' whose creator
reveals a plane is on a collision course with Wisteria Lane.

First a tornado, now a plane crash?"Desperate Housewives" creator Marc Cherry has confirmed that a plane will rip through Wisteria Lane for the show's midseason cliffhanger, and that a "fan favorite" won't survive the impact," reports the UK's Daily Mail.Furthermore, sources tell Eonline.com's Kristin Dos Santos that the out-of-control airliner will be none other than Oceanic.Yes, that Oceanic, of the network's "Lost" series.But don't expect any time-traveling romances between Susan Mayer and Jack Shepard, says Dos Santos, the crossover is just meant as a fun wink for fans of both shows."Everyone
loved how well those 'ABC House' promos did last year," said the
source, referring to commercial spots that featured characters from all
ABC
series. "We're looking at ways to find more fun crossovers between
shows, and so the idea came up to have the 'Desperate Housewives' plane
be Oceanic."
